Making of a Nursery Part II

H.H. and I spent the morning over at my daughters house finishing up the board and batten project on the nursery walls. ....It turned out even better than I expected and I always have high expectations! She has ordered the Sailboat bedding from Pottery Barn Kids and I think it is perfect! They are naming their little boy Grady..... my son in-law loves the Grady White boats and hopes to own one someday.... but for now, he is very happy to be having a baby boy named Grady. She wants to paint the top half of the walls either the pale green you see in the bedding or a  light blue... either will be perfect if your askin me. I think they are going with white crib and dresser and alot of colorful accents... I think denim draperies would be fun and  for the chair I think red or chambray... stay tuned...

  3. Looks really fabulous!
I think the Pottery Barn quilt and crib pads are so cute...and Grady is a great name for a boy!

Those Grady White boats are very popular here too, especially with sport fishermen.

So exciting all this preparation for the grandbaby...
