A Room for Eden....

Hi ya'll! ... I just returned from a 10 trip to Las Vegas to see daughter #1 and to help her get the baby's room put together as she will be arriving soon! There are so many things to love about this room but one of the best for me is that almost every single thing in the room was a Craig's list find or from Goodwill.... I simply love that it is recycled and reused! The crib  and mattress CL, the changing CL.... love the Jenny Lind style of both of those.... book shelf and glider... Goodwill. The crib pad and sheet and bumper and curtains and the cute little lamp with the buttons on it were new purchases as well as the changing pad and cover.... my finger is still numb from the 9 cans of spray paint it took for the crib and 3 cans for the changing table. The paint for the  bookshelf was left over from a previous project...the total my daughter paid for the furniture was $135.00.... about $75.00 for paint.... all the pieces were in perfect shape, I swear  promise the chair has never been sat in, it was brand new $40.00 bucks @ GW! We made the paper flowers for over her crib and one of my little girlies drew a picture for her.I love the way little Eden's room turned out... only thing needed.... is her!
