Snug as a bug with my new Rug....

There is a new addition to the family room.... a friend of mine had this rug that just didn't seem to fit anywhere at her house or at her daughters house.... lucky for me...you see I have been looking lately at all my catalogs thinking that I really need a new rug... I fell in love with the shaggy creamy wool ones... enter the misfit... I instantly fell in love with him... yes, I think it's a him when he lay down at the foot of my sofa... you know a girl has got to help her friends out so... I've adopted him and he has stolen my heart. There is a but... to this story though....

but... now do you think I need new pillows and pictures? H. H. is wringing his hands already because he knows where this is headed... not my fault... just trying to be a good friend!

It is a gorgeous sunny, warm, feels like Spring kind of day....I'm heading out to play in the garden....

clean up the beds...cut a few things back and check on the progress of all things about to bud.... yes, its a beautiful day to spend in the garden. Hoping ya'll find a little Spring to celebrate today!

I had a bunch of gift cards for Target and they were burning a hole in my pocket.....free money right?.... well that's what I call it. I've had my eye on this bedding from Rachel Ashwell... it is so soft and soothing... a little blue and griege....kind of washed out and comfy looking...yes, had my eye on it for awhile but I also love my pottery barn Simone duvet cover....well @ $119.00 for the comforter and shams I figure I can have a little time with both! When ever the mood strikes I can change back.... you see I suffer from split personality decorating disorder SPDD,there is no known cure....sorry H.H.

finding sunshine @ the Market...

Its a cold, gloomy,rainy... did I mention cold and gloomy day today.... but its Friday which means errand running day for me. I had to get some groceries.... so out in the cold I had to go. You'll never guess what I found at the market.... sunshine,cheer and happiness... I filled my cart... brought it all home and... I feel better already!
