I just returned from one of the seven wonders.... I was in Arizona visiting my Dad and I took the opportunity to go to the Grand Canyon...I was not disappointed. We took the train from Williams and enjoyed the ride. I will never forget the first minute I laid eyes on it...breathtaking.... we trekked around for the afternoon and then took the train back to Williams. Oh yeah.... our train got robbed...
luckily we survived that and headed to Sedona the next morning... truly some of the most beautiful landscape I have ever seen. I wish I would have bought one of those dirt shirts as a souvenir.... well...maybe next time.

That picture of you in front of the Grand Cannon is great. What an awesome site, I would love to take my kids. I am glad you had such a nice visit and shared it with us.
ReplyDeleteHi Mimi..what a great trip !! nice pictures....love it.....so beautiful......lovely happy day......hugs from me...
ReplyDeleteMimi, I remember the first time I saw the Grand Canyon. It is beyond words. I have been to Sedona, too.Just beautiful places to visit. So different from anything around where I live. Thanks so much for the sweet comment.
ReplyDeleteYou've piqued my curiosity--your train was robbed? Is that a joke or for real?
ReplyDeletebecky... its part of the act... it was fun.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of your trip. My parents have a picture of me & my siblings with my mom at the grand canyon. Unfortunately, I was so young I don't really remember it. We traveled all around Utah growing up, and the scenes have a similiar look to it. Very beautiful part of the Country!
ReplyDeleteI went on that exact train ride and subsequent trip to Sedona three summers ago! What an amazing time we had. So fun to see others who have experienced some of the same pleasures of travel. =)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! I love traveling in that part of the country! I love Falls in the West! ♥
